Ok, I haven't used that plugin before. You can execute them without errors via SSH if I understand correctly. Are you just looking to skip that manual step and do everything inside of Eclipse? In my projects I'm using ant to build my JARs and execute my code. If you make your development machine part of your cluster or open up the NameNode so it accepts Hadoop jobs from outside of the VM then you can probably do the same. It's not as slick as a plugin but it might work.

An internal error occurred during: "Map/Reduce location status updater".
org/codehaus/jackson/map/JsonMappingException

looks like an internal problem of the plugin

Is there a comfortable way to develop a hadoop job with Eclips ?

Currently I create a Project on my vm host insert the Jars and do the Coding .
and build a Jar .
The Jar get on the vm via a scp comand than I execute the job via SSH .
I have tried the eclips plugin from the hadoop contrib folder but it throws creepy third party libary exceptions.
Is there any easy way of eclipse integration

Thanks for the post.
I'm still working through it but just wanted to tip you that you can replace the "ls /sys/class/drm/*/status..." with a simple 'fgrep "" /sys/class/drm/*/status'
